It always seems like forever in between when I post makeup looks like these, and to be honest, wayyy too long. I often take a look at my makeup collection wondering what the heck I’m doing. For one, I stopped doing makeup and then to think I also abruptly stopped YouTube? Definitely making it a priority from here on out to get back into it. I feel like there are others out there like me that miss the YouTube from 10 years ago. I know I do because I was a part of it.
I miss the days where I could go on there and watch pretty makeup tutorials. Now every time I log in, there’s more drama. I won’t lie, I do watch it from time to time, but I’m quite sure most of the population doesn’t log on there to see that. They want actual inspiration, a place to learn and connect with their subscribers. That’s why I started over a decade ago and I’d like to be one of the select few that’s still there for that. Even if I get just a few viewers, at least I know someone’s watching. During the time I started this, it helped me through some rough times so to completely abandon it is unacceptable. Colourpop coming in clutch! I swear they have the best bang for your buck when it comes to makeup. Love their palettes so much, but I don’t have the Sweet Talk palette.
