Those of you who know me know that I rarely get my hair straightened, and it’s with good reason. For one, I have naturally kinky curly hair and it takes a lot of heat to straighten and not only that, it’s quite difficult to keep it that way. While traveling to NYFW recently, I found comfort in using the TRESemmé Compressed Micro Mist Hair Spray.
I was able to find not only one, but all 4 types of the TRESemme hair spray at Walmart. Though they all share similar characteristics, they all serve a different purpose, so believe me when I say there’s a reason you need them all as I did, haha! 😊
As you can see in the flatlay above, the TRESemmé Compressed Micro Mist Hair Sprays are numbered 1 – 4. Number 1 is the TRESemmé Compressed Micro Mist Hair Spray Texture. It is used to give invisible hold of any textured style.
Number 2 is the TRESemmé Compressed Micro Mist Hair Spray Smooth. This is actually the style I used on my hairstyle featured in this post. It helped to smooth my naturally kinky hair, all while keeping it humidity and frizz free. My hair was able to move freely, while maintaining a light hold!
Number 3 is the TRESemmé Compressed Micro Mist Hair Spray Boost. I am pretty curious to try this with a style in the future. It is used to provide all day hold of a boosted and brushable style.
Lastly, Number 4 is the TRESemmé Compressed Micro Mist Hair Spray Extend. It is used for all day hold of any bold style.
Though my natural hair was already straightened, the TRESemmé Compressed Micro Mist Hair Spray Smooth helped to smooth and eliminate frizz in my strands. All my flyaways were no more!
One of the other things I love most about the TRESemmé Compressed Micro Mist Hair Sprays is the fact they don’t leave that yucky white residue. The finish is invisible, just as the product promises and it dries immediately, which my natural hair loves! For those of you familiar with natural hair, any hint of excess wetness automatically reverts our hair back to its original state, ruining our pressed and straightened hair.

This sounds like what I need! I suffer from major frizz. It’s so frustrating. Baby hairs and fly always always get in the way when I styled my hair! I use to use Tresemme all the time. Will have to check out their new line of products!
If I had to choose one I’d have to pick the Tresemme smooth as well, since my hair style requires really straight hair. Even though I LOVE your curly hair, straight looks great on you too 🙂 Definitely picking one up when I go to Walmart during a trip back home!

I have been using Tresemme products for a quite time, they make my hair look always so pretty and not heavy as other products,
I love Tresemme! There was a moment when my hair got really frizzy during the hot summer months and Tresemme’s Keratin Smooth serum was the only thing that kept my hair smooth. I’ll definitely have to keep your suggestions in mind when the weater starts warming up again 🙂
