Let’s Slit It On

how to wear a step hem skirt, the beauty beau

So I never thought I would get a step hem skirt before I got step hem jeans, but I figured I could get a headstart on one of the 2, right? Now that I have given one of the 2 a try, I definitely want the other now! (I mean, who wouldn’t?!)

My fiancé dragged me to H&M New Orleans a few weeks back to do some shopping and of course, I stayed downstairs and did some “looking” myself. Well “looking” turned into buying! *sigh*

I think the items I got were well worth me breaking my no-buy, as they were all items I didn’t already own. Nope, I don’t own a black denim skirt and nope, don’t own a stretchy tank like this. The color of it was just too good to pass up 🙂

I appreciate the little details such as the slit in the dress. Even though it’s minimal I think it adds a nice touch. Also love how you paired this look with those sneakers!

I love the step hem skirt – going to H&M to check out one for myself. Your sneakers look so comfortable and great
    looking too.

It is kinda nice when you unexpectedly go to a store and find something you like. I don’t tend to all that often, but I just posted a story about shopping in our city and finding a few looks that I loved, one of which was H&M as well!

I still need to get myself something step hem. I didn’t know there were even step hem skirts. Love the way you styled it with a bit of sportiness. So cute!

Having a great black denim skirt is crucial to any girls wardrobe and definitely worth breaking the no buy rule for! Especially because H&M are so affordable but you still get the quality and style you need for the pieces to last in your wardrobe and loving that dusty pink on you babe xx

  8. The more I read about your fiancé, the more I think he should get into the stylist business as he obviously chooses things you wouldn’t normally wear, but make you look incredible, just as you did with this beautiful hem skirt!
