If you’ve followed me and my fashion posts year after year, you’ll see that my taste in jewelry has changed significantly. I have gone from the chunkiest jewelry to the most minimal pieces. I now look at some of my statement necklaces and say to myself, “What was I thinking?”
I do still like statement pieces, just in a lot more moderation than before. I recently discovered this new site, Brook & York, that has minimalist pieces with that slight pop that I love!
I also finally got my hands on a straw bag! It’s my first, but certainly won’t be the last. This one fits so much stuff inside and is lined with fabric. I highly recommend this shop for a variety of different styles. I’ll be getting more from there for sure 🙂

It’s funny how one’s taste in fashion changes over time, but usually it’s not for the worse and in your case, it’s not like you’ll never go back. Let’s just say your sense of fashion has refined to being a bit more minimalistic, without stopping you from going wild at times and I love the jewelry you’re wearing here as they’re saying “I’m fierce” without shouting it in your face.

My taste in jewelry has also changed a lot in the past few years, so I totally get how you feel. I don’t think a piece of jewelry has to be large in size to make a statement – your layered necklaces show just that. I love how the greenish-blue one matches your eye makeup. Beautiful!
