Patched Up

how to wear patches on denim shorts

So it seems patches are here to stay for the time being, and I couldn’t be more excited about that. The thing I like about them is that you wear the patches you like or choose items that have them based on your personality and what you like. For the sake of what I just said, we’ll pretend the cup on my left thigh is a vanilla milkshake 😉

These denim shorts actually came premade with these patches, but I have seen bloggers and others do DIY’s, placing their own patches onto items of clothing, which you could definitely also do. This makes the pieces more unique to your taste. If you’ve done this, I would love to see what you’ve created. Link me in the comments!

Hehe – my patch pants are from Hot Kiss too! They have such fun denim! I especially love pieces with patches already attached because it’s less work … BUT it could also be a ton of fun to DIY it as well! This is such a cute and casual outfit!

What great patches on your jeans shorts. Love it. I just recently did a laser print on the back of my jean jacket which turned out really cool. It is not a patch but the same concept. Patches are everywhere and look great.

I’m definitely digging the patches. It reminds me of the 90s style era. I used to iron on patches bxk then lol. It’s cool to see that this trend is coming back! Cute!

I love these cute and dainty little patches versus the big ones. I mean I get that both are all the rage right now, but the small ones are less invasive and works with any top or shoes!

I remember these from my childhood as well. I definitely wanted a pair of overalls with them on back then. This pair is super cute and youthful on you. Love it with the sneakers.

I’m a huge fan of little patches like that! I recently spotted a denim jacket which has embroidered patches on it and you’re making me so tempted right now to buy it. You look gorgeous x

Omg I need those shorts! They are SO cute! Especially loving the pineapple patch… lol been really into all things pineapple which is odd because I don’t even actually like the fruit haha. I just got myself a pineapple pool float and these shorts would just be perfect to wear in the desert! Thanks for sharing such a cute look babe! xo, sharon

  17. I love these cute little patches on your shorts! I’m so not a DIY person, but this is a really cool idea. I did, however, recently cut up a T-shirt into a tank top and realized how fun it is to remake clothing items. DIY ftw!
