Summer Skin Hydration x Organic Doctor

*This post was sponsored by Organic Doctor®. All opinions are my own.
keeping your skin hydrated during summer

One would think hydration comes natural during the summer, since there’s typically more humidity in the air during this season. However, equal attention should be given to the skin all year long. As you all know, my skin could use extra moisture year round. Imagine my excitement when I discovered Organic Doctor® had 2 lines, catering to a range of varying skin types!

The 2 lines I’m featuring today are the Organic Doctor Organic Tea Tree and Organic Virgin Coconut Oil. I’ll first go into the Tea Tree line, which my fiancé has actually been using lately!

Only the slightest hint of this is needed to create the perfect amount of lather! Lathering up with this is quite nice in the shower, mainly due to my 24/7 allergies and the fact I’m always congested. It’s a nice, light aroma that soaks into my skin, while also leaving a pleasant scent in the atmosphere that doesn’t irritate my allergies. Love it.

FYI, this can also be used in your hair! I’ll have to try that next time 🙂
Organic Doctor Tea Tree Face Wash, the beauty beau

Organic Doctor Tea Tree Face Wash

I passed this one to Keshaun (the fiancé), since this one was a bit drying on my skin, which makes sense since I have very dry skin and this is meant for oily/combination skin. I figured since he uses witch hazel faithfully anyway, which is an ingredient in this face wash, he’d love it…and he does!

I actually haven’t had a chance to use this (thankfully!) since I haven’t had any blemishes as of yet. This is actually a gel in a rollerball form and based on the ingredients, I can’t imagine it being anything short of amazing!

Okay, I’m all over this one. As mentioned before, my skin is very dry and the butters in this baby do so much good to my skin. I am so happy it comes in a larger bottle so it will last me longer. Keshaun isn’t getting his hands on this one. I bought him his own lotion :p

These next skincare products I’m showing from Organic Doctor contain coconut oil as one of their primary ingredients.

Any eye cream that helps to minimize fine lines and wrinkles gets a thumbs up from me…an absolute dream of a treatment to apply under my eye makeup, having moisturizing properties!

This is another body moisturizing love of mine. It’s great to alternate with my Organic Doctor Tea Tree Skin Lotion when I want to switch it up a bit. Coconut oil in general is good for so many things; it’s so comforting when I see it included in my skin products!

There’s something about creams that work so much better on my skin. I often mix mine with sunscreens, for both moisture and sun protection and this day cream just glides on so smoothly! I honestly can’t figure out which one I like better, this one or the Rose Otto Day Cream from Organic Doctor (review on this line available here). Like in the Rose Otto line, there’s also a Night Cream, which I’m just anxious to try the moment I get the opportunity!

Make sure you follow Organic Doctor® on InstagramTwitter and Facebook at the hyperlinks and head to CVS and/or Amazon for these lines of skincare, along with others. I have also reviewed the Snail Gel and Rose Otto lineup of products here and here for more skincare goodness!

I’ve never heard of either of these two brands before but I am always open to exploring products with natural and organic ingredients. I love that it’s green and I think these products would work well with my sensitive skin. Thanks for sharing!

  2. I’m so interested in both lines – tea tree is great for blemish prone skin, and coconut oil is great for hydration. These are definitely skin care products perfect for the summertime to stay fresh all day 🙂 If your fiancé is using them too, they must be good! Thanks for the review!

The tea tree body wash sounds like smells like heaven!! Its so cool you don’t need to use a lot of product because the small quantity lathers on well. i definitely need to get some so my skin has more moisture during winter!

I live in a very humid environment (Roatan, Honduras!) and I’m always looking for great skin care products. I’m going to order this before my next trip back to the states! Thanks for the review!
