TRAVEL: The Thavorn Beach Village Resort

A few of you were probably wondering what happened to my other 2 Phuket property stays, but I definitely didn’t forget about them; I just needed a bit of a break in between them here so I wouldn’t bog you down with them too much! Thavorn Beach Village Resort is the 2nd property I stayed in Thailand, and very 1st in Phuket upon my arrival. Its beauty definitely set the mood for how the rest of my stay in Phuket would be! Everything was so green and pretty!

LOBBY AREA

Upon walking downstairs from the lobby, I immediately noticed the massive pool and beautiful decor. One thing I can appreciate about this property is its attention to detail and nature in general. It was almost like living in a forest for a little while, except much more luxurious. This only begins to describe the beauty of everything I experienced at Thavorn Beach Village!

THE POOL

THE ROOM – HILLSIDE OCEAN FACING JACUZZI

We stayed in a Hillside Ocean Facing Jacuzzi room (more on that jacuzzi later). These rooms are accessible by cable car only and are set atop a secluded hill. It truly reminds you of being in the jungle and it’s nothing like I’ve ever seen.

We were also really impressed with the amount of space in the room and the amazing view. On days we didn’t want to be by the pool or on the beach, we still have a great view of the ocean from our room. Now that’s pure bliss!

VIEW FROM THE ROOM

This was my first time experiencing a bath on the outdoors, much less with a view like this. It was truly an experience to remember and there are also walls on the sides for ultimate privacy from other guests. That’s a huge bonus!

THE BATHROOM

In the event an outdoor bath isn’t your thing, there is also one indoors, the comfort and coolness of your bathroom. There’s also a window up above should you wish to still have a view! 😁

DINING

On the property, there are 5 options, 3 of which I’ll share with you in this email. The first I will share the wonderful Thai Sala Cafe, which boasts the best coffee in Phuket. They also have freshly-baked cakes, quick snacks and refreshing drinks to enjoy throughout your day!

MARISA TERRACE RESTAURANT

During our stay, we got to enjoy a yummy breakfast at the Marisa Terrace Restaurant. I loved how they had a variety of options to choose from including Thai, American, Chinese options. Doesn’t hurt that the restaurant is poolside either. It allows for one of the most amazing views I’ve had for breakfast, other than the actual food, haha! ❤️

ROMANTIC PRIVATE CANDLE-LIT BEACH CABANA

This was truly one of my best highlights in Phuket. Not only was the scenery beautiful, but the food was absolutely amazing! I never knew vegetarian food could be elevated so much, but the chef sure proved me wrong. My cousin even raved about her seafood platter. Trust me, you have to experience dinner by the beach at least once at Thavorn Beach Village Resort!

I can’t leave the food pics without bragging on this amazing Mango Sticky Rice. The rice in dessert part initially threw me off, but when I tasted this dish, I understood. It’s seriously one of my favorite desserts now and I hope I can find something comparable here in Dallas (doubt it though 😰).

I fully enjoyed my stay at this resort. I had the most amazing service and accommodations and my trip ended way too soon. I’d highly recommend you making Thavorn Beach Village one of the places you choose during your future vacation to Phuket. I promise you will not be sorry you did! Click here to book! 🙂
