I had a very eventful day today. For one, I got to meet Donna Britt! Those of you from Louisiana may have heard of or know who she is already. She is a news anchor on WAFB, also more commonly known as Channel 9 News in Baton Rouge. We had a nice chat while we both watched our sons run in the cross country race earlier. She is such a sweetheart and her personality shines far beyond what is displayed on television. Anyway, y’all should know by now that I used to have a large hate relationship with the color pink. I still don’t consider it one of my favorite colors, but I’ve definitely warmed up to the idea of wearing it more often. I never knew oxblood and hot pink would work so well together until today. I guess anything within the same color scheme is a go. Happy Saturday!
