TRAVEL: The Beach Club at Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina

*I was recently hosted at The Beach Club at Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina in exchange for media coverage. All opinions and thoughts are my own.

A few weeks ago, I got the opportunity to experience Charleston for the first time. I had only previously seen how beautiful it was in photos, but never up close and personal. It is one of those cities that is a beach town, while also still being a Southern state. During my stay, I got the chance to stay at The Beach Club at Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina, the #2 Resort in the South and #1 Resort in South Carolina. I won’t play around in getting to all we got a chance to experience that weekend! ☺️

The Beach Club offers 92 guest-rooms with luxury amenities, also being convenient to many Charleston attractions. There is even a water taxi that conveniently transports you from the marina to downtown Charleston. Now there’s a unique way to get around the city with instagrammable views in mind! 😉

Not only is there a beautiful view on the exterior of the property, but the interior was just as beautiful. The interior is inspired by historic Mount Pleasant Village, which the resort sets in the heart of Mount Pleasant. Every aspect was color coordinated, with great thought given to each selection. I truly felt like I was at home! One of the Beach Club’s goals is to deliver a Charleston experience, while providing luxury accommodations and personalized, top-notch customer service!

THE POOLS

On The Beach Club property, there are multiple pools to choose from, all unique in their own way and providing stunning views of the marina. The tropical deck is 30,000 square feet, having private cabanas, fire pits and being convenient to Charleston’s only waterfront Tiki Bar (more on that later). While it’s also convenient to the beachfront, swimming isn’t permitted with Charleston Harbor being a shipping channel. There’s plenty of space to still enjoy the views and poolside amenities though!

ESTUARY SPA

Keshaun and I received 50 minute massages, but I really appreciated all the seasonal body and facial treatment options The Estuary Spa had to offer. There is nothing like prepping for the holidays with a relaxing treatment to get you in the spirit! The spa also offers fresh refreshments that are fruit infused to keep you well hydrated before and after your treatments!

ACCOMODATIONS

For our accommodations, we stayed in a Harbor Deluxe King Room with a balcony. Like the interior of the lobby and surrounding areas indoors, there are hints of blue and orange included in the interior decor. As a fashion enthusiast, I also appreciated the print mixing with all the details in the room as well!

BATHROOM

In the bathroom, I also loved all the marble mixtures on everything. It was a lot more interesting than the boring white we typically see in hotel bathrooms. The casual pops of color were also nice too. The bathroom was so spacious, offering an oversized bathtub and walk-in shower!

FOOD

THE FISH HOUSE

During our stay, we enjoyed the yummy seafood and Southern American balanced cuisine The Fish House had to offer. It was voted in the Top 25 Restaurants in Charleston by Charleston Living Magazine and is the perfect place for waterfront dining, offering stunning views of the marina. Most selections are locally sourced and wild caught, and open for breakfast, lunch and dinner! We enjoyed The Fish House for breakfast and dinner our entire stay.

Our vegetarian breakfast order:

• Buttermilk Pancakes
• Avocado Toast (of course, haha!)
• Fruit Cup
• 2 eggs, over hard
• Egg White omelet

DINNER

For these, this was an influencer dinner setting, so everything featured was not consumed by me. I just wanted to share as many dinner options as possible for you guys! 😘

Before I move on to another subject, I have to brag on these Fried Green Tomatoes. Being a Louisiana girl, I can appreciate fried Southern dishes like this and have enough experience in eating them most of my life to make a vote on who has the best. Seriously guys, these are the best I’ve ever had. From the crispiness, to the flavor to the garnish, I was a huge fan. Now I am not one to eat fried food multiple days in a row for obvious health reasons, but I didn’t care about any of that during my stay because of how delicious these were. That alone says a lot about them!

The staff at The Fish House actually packaged my leftovers in this cute little swan aluminum wrap. Isn’t it the cutest? It’s always the little things!

LUNCH

Beach Club Tiki Bar

For lunch, we enjoyed a refreshing, yet satisfying lunch at the Tiki Bar, which is poolside at The Beach Club.

Our vegetarian order:

• Grilled Romaine
• Southwest Black Bean Burger
• Caribbean Colada (age 21+ beverage)

Let’s get the business clear. I have never liked any kind of beans in any way shape or form (yes that also includes black beans). I have to admit though, I was a bit curious, with everything else I had tried prior being incredible. The burger was also incredible! It was battered and grilled, which I’m sure had a lot to do with the bean flavor being hidden so well. The toppings helped to mask the flavor, as well as the jalapeño aioli I requested to dip it in (highly recommend doing the same…you won’t regret it!).

GYM

The property also has a gym in the event you want to get some weightlifting and cardio in!
