TRAVEL: Spending My Birthday in Park City at Stein Eriksen Lodge

*I was hosted at Stein Eriksen Lodge in exchange for media coverage. All opinions and thoughts are my own.

Stein Eriksen Lodge review, the beauty beau

As most of you know, I spent my birthday week in Park City, UT. For one, it’s always been a dream of mine to go to ski school and I had a vision of spending my birthday somewhere really cold. Well, I actually managed to tackle both this week and for a portion of the week, I got the chance to spend time at Stein Eriksen Lodge!

I was greeted with yummy treats to start the trip off on a good foot. Since a photographer traveled with me for my birthday, we stayed in a 1 bedroom with double beds. This type of guest room comes furnished with a fireplace and balcony, both of which were very much appreciated during the cold winter days I had to look forward to. Definitely don’t mind a nice view of the snow from the warmth and comfort of my bedroom either! There are also guest rooms that come furnished with their own hot tub and private deck!

BATHROOM

Our bathroom was beyond my expectations. There are few times in which I can count having a separate vanity area from the sink(s) to do makeup and hair. Though I didn’t get to utilize this area as much as I wanted, I appreciate that consideration was given for ladies and beauty lovers in general to have their own space separate from the guys who like to hog the bathroom…haha!

THE SPA

I didn’t get to enjoy any treatments at the spa, but Stein Eriksen does have one on the property, which I’m sure is just as amazing as everything else there!

THE GREAT OUTDOORS

Did I mention the views?! Obviously being located deep into a ski city, having gorgeous views for miles is a must. Stein Eriksen is no different, offering comfort from both your room and the great outdoors. It’s truly a great view to enjoy and you’d have to check it out yourself to see what I mean! There are also fireplaces outdoors to keep you warm while you people watch! 😊

Just a few of the activities I got to enjoy include a sleigh ride, skiing, and dog sledding. Special thanks to Trepic for covering the sleigh ride and dog sledding activities for my birthday! What I love about all the aforementioned activities is that you can book them all directly through concierge at Stein Eriksen and they will also provide transportation to any offsite activities with advance notice. I actually went to ski school at Deer Valley, which I mentioned before has always been a dream of mine to try. Normally, I have 0 balance or coordination. I shocked myself by only falling once on the slopes. 😱 Trust me, if you want to learn how to ski, Deer Valley is the place to do it. I am so glad I took this opportunity to learn and I had so much fun!

As you can imagine, I was freezing while taking these photos, haha; however, the pool itself is heated. It was a really nice place to come back to after spending so much time outdoors participating in winter activities. I only wish I had a heated pool like this when I took swimming lessons in college. (I actually took lessons during the winter and the pool was not heated. 😒 Talk about a semester of torture!)

Be sure to check out Stein Eriksen Lodge as your next vacation destination. It truly is the perfect resort that’s central to so many popular destinations and also to downtown Park City. Did I mention there’s a shuttle on site to transport you back and forth to downtown? Convenience is another prominent characteristic this gorgeous property has to offer!

  1. What a treat to spend your birthday here at Park City! I’ve been to Park City twice and I love it. This resort looks so charming and cozy and spacious! The bathroom is a dream and I love that separate tub too. I can only imagine how fun it was there and also nice and warm to come back to this beautiful room. I actually skiied at Deer Valley too and it is hands down the best place to ski (especially for kids). I’ve been wanting to go back to Park City again so I will have to check out the Stein Eriksen Lodge for our next trip there. xoxo, Christine

Such a cute concept! Gotta get the most of your money and challenge those styling skills. I really like how you kept both outfits fairly simple and easy to wear anywhere. That leather jacket is to die for, and I’m always down to wear sneakers. Although, I’ve been nervous to wear midi skirts mainly because of my height. I have made is my new years resolution to try things I’m scared about though, and thanks for showing that wearing a midi skirt isn’t too scary haha.
