This is my first set of photos that I shot while in Arizona. I researched photographers on Instagram, and Michelle is definitely the one that stood out to me. I am very picky when it comes to photographers and I was really impressed with her. For one, I don’t like boring backgrounds; hers were exotic. I also don’t like when photographers make my skin look overly red. I know I’m a “redbone” (yikes, hate that word! lol), but it doesn’t always need to be emphasized on camera. Just my 2 cents. If you’re a professional photographer and I’m totally wrong on this, please let me know and I won’t be offended. I’ve just never seen a “redbone” (I just screamed again for using that foolery) in the tabloids look super red lol. Anyway, rant over. She’s awesome and you should see why in these sets of photos and the ones I have to come in the future. I highly recommend her if you’re in the Phoenix area! I also want to give a quick shout out to an awesome fashion blogger in Phoenix by the name of Kassandra, blogger at The Kassandra Ryan. I also found her on Instagram and we were supposed to collaborate, but our weeks were off with both of us being on vacation in 2 different states. I just wanted to share my appreciation for her being so kind and keeping in contact with me. There unfortunately isn’t enough support in the fashion blogging industry, mostly bigotry and vanity from my personal experience (I won’t go into detail), and to have someone willing to collaborate and work together is a huge motivation, I definitely look forward to working with her when I happen to step foot into Phoenix again! I would also gladly work with anyone I could because I know where I started and where I am now ๐Ÿ™‚

Anyway, I was supposed to actually start typing this post a whole essay ago, haha. What’s better than an A-line skirt? A rust laced up suede skirt! Rust is a beautiful fall color and it happens to look amazing on my complexion. This particular one from Romwe is very affordable, as the majority of pieces on their site are and is extremely comfortable. No need to be concerned with wrinkling with this fabric; it’s high quality!
