When I was younger, I used to think of weddings as being extremely formal dress and nothing less. With our generation and the ability to honestly not care so much about formal dress codes, I have found with recent weddings that the dress code is a lot more relaxed, while still remaining appropriate.
That is partly what inspired this look! That, and the fact I attended a #FallForRose event in collaboration with Barefoot Wine a few weeks ago. You know I had to go all cliche and throw something in that was in fact, rose! My lace midi skirt was another purchase for NYFW and I ended up not wearing it. I was quite fortunate to have this unworn in my closet for this event!
