*I was recently hosted at the Hyatt Regency Phuket Resort in exchange for media coverage. All opinions and thoughts are my own.
Before my Thailand departure, I got the chance to stay at Hyatt Regency Phuket Resort. Prior to this trip, I have been acquainted with the Hyatt brand for years. When I was a teenager, we stayed at a Hyatt in New Orleans and I can remember how amazed I was at the beauty. Back then I didn’t really appreciate everything they offered being so young and carefree. Being the traveler and adult like I am now, I must say I was quite amazed at the excellent service and overall beauty of the property!
LOBBY
HILL TOP REGENCY SUITE
For our stay, we got the opportunity to stay in a Hill Top Regency Suite and it’s just as the name suggests…a suite on top of a hill. It’s definitely a lot more than I could have envisioned though. It’s not just any hill; it’s one with the most gorgeous view of the beach. You’ll get to see more of that in photos below. Also with your stay in this suite, you also get access to the Regency Club Lounge, which also has striking views. For now, let’s shift our focus to this cozy room! 😄
LIVING AREA
The living area itself could almost be a bedroom with its size and also the comfort of the furniture. In fact, we spent the last few hours of our time in Thailand in this room. Just outside the living area is a balcony with seats, which overlooks the ocean.
THE BEDROOM
The actual bedroom consists of a king sized bed, LED TV, individual air-conditioning control and a work space. Though I didn’t get a chance to really use it, I appreciated the workspace behind the bed. It allows productivity in having a separate work space, but I could also still watch TV if I wanted, as the TV is in direct viewing! 🙂
I absolutely love this chair and the view you get from sitting there. It’s a great way to enjoy the nice view without physically having to be outdoors.
THE BATHROOM
Double vanity sink with a massive walk-in mirror to your left?! Yasss. The lighting in the bathroom is perfection too, not to mention that gorgeous view from the tub! 😍
THE POOLS
Now there are 2 pools on the property: the main pool and also the private one at the Regency Club. The one featured above and below is the main pool, infinity style. The very last one featured is the Regency Club pool, where anyone staying in a Hill Top Regency Suite can enjoy!

SUNSET GRILL
For dinner, we got to enjoy a yummy dinner at Sunset Grill on the property. Though they are considered a fine BBQ restaurant, there are plenty of market vegetables, fresh seafood and prime cuts of meat to enjoy. The amazing view over the ocean doesn’t hurt either! It is definitely a place of romance to enjoy fine dining with a view!
NAHM SPA
At the Nahm Spa on the property, I received my very first Thai massage and it is much different from a traditional massage, which we’d experience in the States. For one, no oils or lotions are used. I can’t really explain it other than it being one of the best massages I’ve had. You have to try it at least once! The process is started with a foot soak in fresh florals and a foot massage, which you will see the setup immediately below.
I’ll be honest; my stay was very short-lived at the Hyatt Regency Phuket Resort. I didn’t get to stay nearly as long as I wanted to. With all the amazing amenities and things to enjoy on the property, you definitely shouldn’t rush your trip. It’s such a beautiful place to retreat away from the outside world! Hyatt Regency in Phuket looks amazing!! I love Phuket so much and I think I was there like 3 times last year. It is such a great place to chill, to eat, to party and to relax. This island offers almost everything =) Hyatt Regency has such an amazing location for everything !
