Color Statement Lipliners
Milani’s Description – Make a statement without saying a word. True Instant Color. Satin color in one stroke application. This next generation lipliner is a long-wearing, easy-glide formula to line & fill-in your lips. Paraben free.
Candace’s Description – These lip liners are super creamy. They don’t scratch the lip at all. The texture kind of reminds me of the Bare Minerals Round the Clock Waterproof Eye Liners. They glide on like butter, so don’t press too hard or it can break. It’s just that smooth. Awesome texture!

Colors from top to bottom:
#7 – Brandy
#8 – Fuchsia

Colors from left to right:
#7 – Brandy, #8 – Fuchsia
Brandy – This is a brownish purple lip pencil; I don’t really  own anything similar to it. It would look beautiful with MAC Hot Chocolate Lipstick.

Fuchsia – There’s no mystery to this color. It’s a beautiful and pigmented fuchsia shade, which it pretty much the same as NYX Fuchsia Lip Liner Pencil.

Color Statement Lipsticks

Milani’s Description – Make a statement without saying a word!  True Instant Color. One stroke, full coverage application. This next generation lipstick gives the ultimate in color, texture and finish.  The lightweight creamy formula contains Vitamins A, C, & E to moisturize and nourish lips. Paraben free. Available in Vinyl, Metallic, Cream, Shimmer, Pearl & Matte finish.
Candace’s Description – These lipsticks are super creamy and moisturizing, as Milani states. It helps to prime the lips before as they have a tendency to slip into the lines of the lips. I have also noticed that the texture tends to ball up if your lips are not pre-exfoliated. Before application, make sure all the dead skin is scrubbed off beforehand (you can use sugar on a wet toothbrush or moisturize with something like Carmex before bed). The lipsticks are pretty longwearing as far as the actual color goes. The pigmentation that shows up when you first apply the color goes away throughout the day, or even quicker if you eat or share a kiss lol. The actual color still stains your lips after it rubs off, which is pretty nice, in my opinion. As with all lip products, from my experience, it leaves a white ring on the inside of the lips as time passes. I just remove it with a napkin or tissue, so it isn’t a deal breaker for me.

Colors from left to right:

#17 – Plumrose: This color is very similar to MAC Most Popular Lipstick, but a hint darker. It’s like a rosy pink color with a bit of plum, perfectly named shade. It is a more wearable version of Sangria, which you will see later in this post.

#19 – Raspberry RushMAC Show Orchid Lipstick is very similar.  It is a metallic fuchsia.

#20 – Uptown MauveMAC Dish It Up Lipstick is a more sheer, but similar shade. I can describe it as a dark magenta with a dash of purple.

#21 – SangriaMAC Odyssey Lipstick is more of a frosty mauve. MAC Rebel Lipstick is slightly more pink. I can best describe this as a non-metallic version of Chilled Brandy, which you will see next.

#22 – Chilled Brandy: This color is absolutely gorgeous; I own nothing like it. It is a metallic pinkish plum. This isn’t my typical color, but I will most definitely be using this color pretty soon in a tutorial.

#24 – Black CherryMAC Media Lipstick may be similar to this shade, but I don’t own it so I cannot say for certain. From what I can remember, it is close. It is a dark, creamy burgundy shade.

#34 – Violet Volt: I will be using this color in my next tutorial. 🙂 MAC Violetta Lipstick has more purple, but it pretty close. If you want a less pigmented version of it, go for Violet Volt.

Colors from left to right, starting on top row:
#17 – Plumrose, #19 – Raspberry Rush, #20 – Uptown Mauve, #21 – Sangria
#22 – Chilled Brandy, #24 – Black Cherry, #34 – Violet Volt
These lipsticks can be purchased at CVS, Target, Walgreens, Walmart, K-Mart, and other related drugstores.
