This is the outfit I wore the night of my birthday to dinner while I was in Austin. Since our anniversary was 2 days behind my birthday, we decided to go all out and go to Oasis, which is this beautiful restaurant overlooking Lake Travis. It is truly indescribable. You would have to personally be there to experience it. The view was breathtaking. I’ll include a couple of shots below taken with my iPhone 6 Plus.
I have been itching to pair these 2 houndstooth items together. I didn’t think they would coordinate so well since I was strictly computer monitor shopping. We all know how hit or miss that can be!
If you’re 21 and up, I definitely recommend checking out their margaritas; they’re bomb. Let me not forget to mention their ribs (favorite food)…OMG! Just make sure you Louisianians ask for extra seasoning like I did or they might not taste right. I did and they were perfect! I always do that when I go out of state to eat, especially with meat. We Louisianians love our food and hate it under seasoned. Gimme dat flava!!!
