I love when stranger than normal dress codes are assigned for event attendance because they allow me to step out of my comfort zone and wear something I normally wouldn’t have thought of. I went to a 90s party and we had to dress up in “costumes.” Y’all probably already know my stance on costumes and how I think they’re a total waste of money, so I instead put something together that was already in my closet and added my twist!
The longer I thought about it, I’d totally rock this, 90s event or not. I need to start remixing more existing pieces from my wardrobe more and stop shopping so much. It’s amazing the treasures I find that look brand new when worn differently! Do you remix items a lot in your closet?

Those overalls are some kind of special! I love the olive green on you and the mild distressing. I’m a huge overalls fan, but I’ve never thought to get them in a particular color. So much fun!
