Thin Lines

how to wear red mom shorts, the beauty beau

Happy eve of the 4th beauties! Today is my first Monday working from home and I must say I love it! I don’t have a reason to hate Mondays anymore since I love what I’m doing. I’m even tired and it doesn’t matter because I know I’m investing in myself and not anyone else. I finally see what other entrepreneurs have been telling me all these years!

As most of you all know, I moved to Dallas this past weekend and that’s mainly why I’m so tired. I have been spending the past few days getting things unpacked and situated, especially where my office is concerned. Hopefully I’ll be able to share pics of that with you soon, but while I still have crap all over the floor, that’s a no, haha! My parents even came down for the weekend and flew back, which was a great help!

I’m not super cliche when it comes to holiday dress, which you probably already know by now, but I am very comfortable with this look, as the red, white and blue (stripes in my bodysuit if you didn’t notice ;)) is more spread out and would actually work at any time of the summer! What are you guys’ plans for the holiday? I’ll just be lounging around our new crib…though we’ll probably find something to do later on tonight!

I’m so happy your move went well! I can’t wait to see your new place when all the cleaning is done. Maybe make a post about how to pick, and chaos what not to bring on a move? Also hope you have a great 4th of July celebration x

All these colours look great together. The shorts has so nice shade of red. And I really like you with violet lipstick!
I know what you are talking about: it is so different and nice feeling when you invest in yourself. Your motivation increases and you feel satisfied even if you are tired. Glad that this happened with you too 🙂

Moving can definitely be tiring and stressful but I’m sure once you’re all settled in, you will be able to enjoy Dallas 🙂 I love this simple outfit and your purple lipstick as it makes it pop 🙂

Congrats on the move Candace!! Girl you are your own boss babe now! I like how you celebrate the 4th in this simple yet classic red white and blue look. I am not super patriotic wear personal either, but I like that everyone is celebrating in their own way. If you are tired, you should get rest as needed, the last thing you need is burn yourself out.
