What do you think of when you see this classic pattern? Buffalo plaid brings me vibes of warm wool, winter nights, the scent of a campfire and maybe sip of whiskey. As you can see, buffalo plaid has come quite a long way from the wild wild west! This pattern is such a classic. Buffalo plaid has long been worn by male idols, leaving the impression that the pattern is predominately masculine. I’m here to tell you that’s no longer the case!

I don’t think I have to tell you again that Texas is hot – but it is! Sometimes I really want to dress for warm weather, but the outside temperatures make it impossible. I love dresses like this for my climate because it’s so balanced! It has all of the fall look, but is breezy and totally wearable when it’s warmer.
If you’ve been around my blog for a while, you’ll know how I feel about these boots! I definitely show them favoritism. They are classic and I love the heel height. I love how the mid-calf design hits me too. They are extremely comfortable and give off the most chic vibes.
I’ll never give them up!
Pairing this dress with leggings or jeans is a definite possibility too, especially if it is cooler outside! It’s such a soft, comfortable dress that I could probably live in if there weren’t so many other things I love in my closet. It’s also such a sweet holiday look!
Pair this with silver, gold, or mixed metals and you will look beautiful no matter what!

I’ll admit, I’m not a huge fan of minis on my body because I get concerned about showing a little *too* much. However, I could totally see myself wearing this over leggings, belted, with a jacket! I think it really is so cute. I love classic buffalo plaid!
