I’m pretty much over hating the weather; it allows me to still get away with looks like these! This mock neck velvet dress begins a new love for me…velvet…and believe me, I’m only getting started.
It is a more fitted dress, so if that isn’t your cup of tea, size up twice. It’s honestly one of the softest dresses I own, it’s really stretchy and the perfect neutral. I don’t know if y’all remember when I first started blogging, but I said I would never stray away from color. Well, times have changed and I am reneging on what I originally said! *insert hands over eyes monkey emoji*
I have finally found a love for neutrals and I will definitely be wearing them more along with my usual colors!
Don’t think I mentioned it on here, but this past Monday was my 27th birthday too. It’s such a blessing to see another year of life and prosperity!

Neutrals suit you really well and I like to think of myself of someone who wears a lot of color too, but sometimes you just want some neutrals, but just like you did here, with a twist, in this case being that wonderful neon orange plaid shirt which makes the whole look edgier!
