How I #MakeItReign x USA’s Queen of the South Season 3

Society tends to think women are weak, sensitive or incapable, and while it may be the case sometimes as with both genders, it certainly doesn’t mean we aren’t bosses. I may be speaking of myself, but I’ll go ahead and make that assumption that we are all capable of achieving much more than society thinks we can. In light of this, Queen of the South is returning for a 3rd season and I can’t think of a better show to prove that we as women have what it takes to run an empire, all while living our best lives!

In case you’re unfamiliar, the boss babe or girl boss on Queen of the South is Teresa Mendoza, otherwise known as Alice Braga. If you haven’t ever watched the show, I highly recommend catching up with Seasons 1 and 2 on Netflix. The first couple of seasons show Teresa starting from the bottom and working her way up to where she is now. Over time, she has experienced much heartbreak and pain and eventually realizes that in order to rise, she must be ruthless. Looks like that panned out pretty well for her, if I do say so myself!

In comparison to Teresa, I would say I definitely started at the bottom to get where I am now. I first started attending modeling and acting school. When that didn’t pan out, I learned how to do makeup and became a makeup artist. Eventually I got pretty bored again and decided to start blogging. After years and years of perseverance and dedication, I arrived where I am today!

Seeing other women work so hard at their craft to achieve the impossible motivates me even more to achieve my goals and dreams.
