This post features this month’s ONYXBOX (sorry for posting this on the last possible day). If you don’t know what an ONYXBOX is, they are a subscription based company that sends you a box of high end makeup and beauty products for only $25 a month.This month featured all hair and body products. Check out my video below for more info and how you can get yours. Here’s what was in my box this month:
Like last time, there were 5 items in this ONYXBOX. My box featured all skin and hair products and 1 nail polish. From left to right, I’ll list products shown in the photo above and their purpose:
Lotta Body Curl & Style Milk: This product is great for relaxed or natural hair and hydrates the hair from the inside out. It gives the hair a shine using the coconut and shea oils in its ingredients. This stuff smells great and I’m a sucker for great smelling hair products.
This product retails for $3.99.
Philip B. Botanicals Drop Dead Straightening Baume: This product is no change from my opinion of it last time. It works wonders on flat ironing my thick hair and it doesn’t weigh it down like some products can
This product retails for $8.00.
C. Booth Honey Almond Nourishing Dry Oil Mist: This is another great smelling product. This is meant to be used on the face and body, but since it’s scented, I am sort of skeptical of using it on my face since I have sensitive/dry skin. It worked great on my body though. It has a watery consistency and isn’t overly greasy like some oils can be.
This product retails for $7.99.
Herban Shae Sweet Ginger: This is also meant to be a moisturizer, an all over one. I love to use it as lip balm. It feels great on and moisturizes well. I did find myself reapplying it more often than normal. Hopefully this isn’t the case with the body as well.
Lauren B. Beauty Nail Lacquer: This is a beautiful red nail polish. I am not typically a red polish wearer, but I can definitely see myself wearing this color on my toes year round.
This product retails for $18.00.
This box included a great selection of hair and body products. I’m really excited to use the Lotta Body product when I curl my hair with my extensions. When I do, I will definitely film a tutorial and let you know how that works. In the meantime, you can purchase this month’s box here.
