Shop Macy’s Fragrances for Mother’s Day

Mothers can be some of the hardest to shop for. I mean, they pretty much have it all (us, haha!), but seriously though, does anyone ever struggle with the task of shopping for their mother like I do?! They spend a large part of their lives raising us as kids and to adults and that definitely shouldn’t be overlooked. So why not treat Mom to one or some of the most luxurious fragrances from Macy’s?! I chose to treat my mother to YSL Mon Paris this year! The packaging not only looks gorgeous, but it smells heavenly!

The fragrance I selected for my mother, YSL Mon Paris Eau de Parfum is not only a modern floral scent, but it’s the perfect fragrance for her, her name ironically being “Rose.” I also happened to find the perfect background of roses to shoot this beautiful fragrance with my photographer! Mon Paris is also inspired by Paris, which is the city of intense love!

Mon Paris is also a fragrance that in my eyes, is both Confident and Sophisticated, both of which are qualities my mother exudes. It has a nice balance of strong and feminine, pretty much where I get my traits of being those from. Its notes of red berries and pear also represent sensuality, the perfect combination for a Mother’s Day gift! One of its most prominent notes, the exotic White Detura Flower, seduces the senses, but isn’t at all overpowering. It’s the soul of the fragrance and is what contributes in a major way to it being a sophisticated scent. Other notes in this fragrance include: strawberry, raspberry, bergamot, alone, orange flower and several others. Overall, Mon Paris is quite a nice fragrance to awaken the senses and make a bold statement, an excellent choice for Mom!
