sweet earth foods review, the beauty beau

I can’t remember the last time I had a frozen meal. For one, I find a lot of the vegetarian ones are pretty gross and they often have not the slightest hint of flavor. They also tend to be pretty boring, with no sense of creativity, which I tend to like with the foods I eat. Sweet Earth Foods Frozen Foods, that you can find at your local Target, are bold & healthy meals that are absolutely delicious. The entire brand has food and meals that are high in protein, fiber, and nutrients. They are also all either organic & vegetarian or vegan!

The first dish from Sweet Earth I tried was the Curry Tiger Bowl, which is inspired by exotic Indian flavors and spices. The bowl itself is loaded with sweet potatoes, broccoli, carrots and lentils, over brown rice and quinoa. It’s absolutely amazing and brings my palate back to Asia!

Another dish not pictured that brought me to Asia was the Pad Thai dish from Sweet Earth. For those unfamiliar, Pad Thai is the national noodle dish of Thailand and is loaded with flavor! Even better for me that this one is vegetarian. It has rice noodles, carrots, shiitake mushrooms, red bell peppers, green onions and garlic. It’s also seasoned with preserved radish, beansprouts, peanuts and tofu. You wouldn’t even know this dish was meatless!

The 3rd entrée I’ll be featuring today is the Cauliflower Mac. Now cheese is one of my biggest indulgences and it’s a primary reason why I am not vegan. I will tell you I didn’t know this was vegan until after tasting this. The cheese melts just like regular cheese and it’s so close for comfort to macaroni and cheese. Though it’s not 100% identical, it has so much more nutrients, containing protein and a high level of vitamin C. Now these are characteristics I can indulge in with pride!

My absolute favorite Sweet Earth meal were hands down the Aloha BBQ Quesadillas. They have savory BBQ grounds, pineapple, pinto beans and jalapeño peppers. They are also stuffed with vegan cheddar cheese! I couldn’t taste the difference between regular cheddar and vegan cheddar. Maybe because my body is already trained with me being a vegetarian and all, but my photographer, who does still eat meat, didn’t know this wasn’t real cheese! 😱😎

Sweet Earth also has several burritos to choose from, one of them being the Mayan Burrito. It’s loaded with protein and fiber, stuffed with black beans, purple cabbage, salsa, chipotle grounds and cotija cheese. This one is vegetarian and also certified organic!

Sweet Earth has been a loved brand in my household, before I even discovered they had a frozen section. I shared their Benevolent Bacon in my Instagram story with my breakfast one morning and my DMs went crazy, shocked that I was eating meat, which I wasn’t. It was completely vegan and delicious!
